Obedience Practice with Rally:

Need to review, rework or just practice your dog’s basic obedience skills such as heel, sit, down, and stay? Rally is an obedience sport that makes this fun and easy! Like it’s counter part in car racing, Dog Rally involves following a course of 10 to 20 signs with your dog in heel position. Each station asks you and your dog to do a specific task involving one of the basic obedience commands. Each course is new and different.  Courses can be tailored for novice to advanced participants. Unlike traditional obedience, Rally also encourages humans to talk with and encourage their dogs all of the way through the course. A fun way to practice obedience skills using force free, positive reinforcement methods that encourage human/dog teamwork…and boy do we have fun too!!

Days:  April 10, 17, and 24 and May 1st.

Time:  6 pm to 7 pm

Place:  Frisco Community Center on 3rd Street in Frisco

Cost:  $100 for all four classes or $30 per class on a drop in basis.

Obedience for Life and Sports:

This is a basic obedience class that teaches not only your obedience 101 skills, but more importantly how and when to use these skills in living your life together or participating in dog sports. We will, of course, cover sit, down, stay and loose lead walking. We will also learn about how to teach your dog alternative (and more constructive) activities than what you don’t want them to do, teach your dog self control and help teach you how to train, manage and handle your dog more effectively. Only non force methods are used with the emphasis on helping you understand your dog better and build a rewarding relationship together.

Place:  Frisco Community Center on 3rd Street in Frisco
