GROUP DOG TRAINING CLASSES

AGILITY CLASSES SUMMER 2018

 

Foundations for Agility:

This 4 week class covers required basics for learning the sport of agility. We will teach your dog to pay attention to you, to come and to stay even with distractions. You and your dog will learn how to safely use the agility equipment. Emphasis is on safety, teamwork and fun.

Beginning Agility:

This 4 week class is a continuation of the foundations agility class. We will continue to help you and your dog safely maneuver through the agility obstacles and begin to run simple courses. Emphasis is on safety, teamwork and fun.

Beginning/Intermediate Agility:

This 4 week class is a continuation of the beginning agility class. You and your dog will continue to master the agility obstacles including weave poles. Each class session will include work on movement with your dog, giving clear directions and running courses.  Emphasis is on safety, teamwork and fun.

DATES AND TIMES:

Foundations for Agility:

Saturdays: June 23rd-July 7th from 9 to 10 am

Saturdays: July 21st -August 11th from 8 to 9 am

Beginning Agility: 

Saturdays: July 21st -August 11 from 9:15 to 10:15 am

Saturdays: August 18th, 25th and September 15th and 22nd from 8 to 9 am

Beginning/Intermediate Agility:

Saturdays: August 18th, 25th and September 15th and 22nd from 9:15 to 10:15 am

 

Cost: $100 per 4 week session

Location: The fields of the High Mountain Agility Club in Old Snowmass Colorado.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES. SORRY NO DROP-INS

Dogs must be at least one year old and be able to function safely and peacefully in a group of other people and dogs.
